<h2><font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" face="Trebuchet MS" color="#666666" size="2">Relax in the unspoilt countryside of the Limousin, especially at La Retreat where a haven of peace and tranquillity await you.<br /> <br /> Both of our properties look out onto rolling countryside, and the grounds contain very mature trees including a magnificent walnut tree, which makes a wonderful spot for an evening sundowner!<br /> <br /> The attractive town of St Yrieix la Perche is only 5km away, and has a number of fine restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.&nbsp; There are plenty of good supermarkets and also small specialist shops to browse around.&nbsp; A general market takes place every two weeks on a Friday morning, with an abundance of excellent food stalls, fresh vegetables and clothes and crafts.<br /> <br /> A large lake with a beach is only 5 minutes drive from La Retreat, this is a lovely place to picnic and the lake has a very safe swimming area for children.
