The bakers, butchers, greengrocers, bars and bank are only 5 minutes away by car or a 20 minute walk through the woods. Treignac also has a famous choclaterie which must be visited!</font></div> <div><font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" face="Trebuchet MS" color="#666666" size="2">The area is known as the French lake district and Treignac boasts a fine lake with a safe beach for even the youngest bathers and many water sports for those slightly older!</font></div> <div><font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" face="Trebuchet MS" color="#666666" size="2">The area is renowned for walking with dozens of marked routes - from just a gentle stroll around the local chateau to serious hiking across forested hills. Wildlife abounds in the fields and woods surrounding the cottage &ndash; deer, foxes, badgers are regularly seen and wild boar (sanglier) have been heard in the woods (but not seen!).</font></div> <div><font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" face="Trebuchet MS" color="#666666" size="2">&nbsp;</font></div>
